It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Dinah Simms announce her passing on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at her home in Burgeo, with her loving family at her side, at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Marilyn (Don), Shirley (Ron), Emily (Alton), Margaret (Clayton), Joe (Maureen), Gordon (Theresa), Patricica (Calvin), David (Joyce) and Brian (Shirley); 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren;sister Pearl (Alvin), and sisters-in-law Rita, Mabel and Shirley, as well as very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Agnes and Joseph, stepfather George, brother John and granddaughter Jody. Family and friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the church on Monday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. interment will follow at Burgeo Community Cemetery.
