It is with great sadness that the family of the late Philip Sparkes announce his passing on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders at the age of 57 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories: his loving wife Nancy, of 18 years; daughter Sherry (Scott), Calgary, AB, son Kyle (Melissa), Rocky Harbour, stepson LaMonte (Taylor), Eddies Cove West, stepdaughter Shantelle (Mick), Eddies Cove West, brothers: Roy (Rita), Wayne (Ruby), Gauis (Della); sisters: Chelsea, Venus (Wilson), Melvia (Doug), Sandra (Wayne), Valerie (Blandford), Elizabeth (Norm) and Patricia (Darren); grandchildren: Autumn, Aubree, Ocean and Skyler; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Chesley and Annie Sparkes, brother Newman, nephew Stephan and baby nephew Tyler. Friends and family may visit St. John the Divine Anglican church in Port Saunders on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. with a family service to be held Friday 7:30 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 2:00 p.m.  Reverend Clare Stewart officiating. Interment to follow at Doctors’ Brook cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix.
