Obituary of Howard Joseph McKay

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Howard McKay announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Flat Bay, NL on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 77 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons:  Mel (Bev) McKay, Troy Ashley McKay; granddaughter Natasha McKay; sister Lynn (Clift) White; nieces and nephews: Danielle Roy (David), Jason White (Anita), Dana-Leigh Andress (Darren), Shane McKay and families; as well as other family and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his wife Roberta "Robbie" (nee Simmonds), parents Doug and Geraldine McKay, brother Melvin McKay.  Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday, December 27, 2018 between the hours of 7 – 9 p.m.  The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing, NL with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating.  Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing, NL will take place following the service.  As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
