Obituary of Ted Shears

MAIDMENT “TED” SHEARS ROCKY HARBOUR, NL Passed peacefully away on Friday, November 28th, 2008 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Ted Shears at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his sister: Mrs. Pearl Hulan, Corner Brook; nephew: Boyd Shears and family, Deer Lake; special niece: Donna (Martin) Genge and family, Rocky Harbour; aunt: Violet Shears, Rocky Harbour; as well as large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor; two infant sons and brothers: Bryant and Samuel Shears. Visitation will take place from St. Matthews Anglican Church, Rocky Harbour beginning Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Olsson officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthews Church Memorial Fund. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
