It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Gerald Bradshaw announce his passing on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years Gerri (nee Murphy); son Don Bradshaw (Deanna Shears); sisters: Jean (Sel) Warren, Joan (Lindsey) Lebouthillier and Linda (Dave) Marshall; brother Richard Bradshaw; sisters-in-law: Molly (Bill) Burke and Catherine (Joe) Mahon; brothers-in-law: Bill (Jean) Murphy and Frank (Clare) Murphy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary Bradshaw, sister Mary Garland, brothers Norm and Randy Bradshaw, sister-in-law Sonya Bradshaw. Special thank you to Dr. McCarthy, Dr. Welsh, Dr. Whitten, Dr. Dunn, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Clinic or the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
