CLYDE HILLIER COX’S COVE, NL Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 1st, 2008 after a long illness at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Clyde Hillier at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his loving wife Rosalind, of 42 years; children: Craig (Nancy), Debbie, Floyd, Michelle Mapplebeck (Tom); special grandchildren: Michael, Mathew and Mitchel Antle, and Jasmine Hillier; parents: Mark and Susanna Hillier; brothers: Aubrey Hillier (Carol), Roy Hillier (Judy Mayo), Raymond Hillier (Denise), John Woodland, Heber Woodland; sisters: June Hare (Clayton), Lillian Buffett (Bill), Ruby Dyall, Norma Forsey (Glen), Janice Kelland (Randy), Beatrice Hillier and Georgina Hillier; sisters-in-law: Dora Woodland, Dinah Brake (Charles), Bernice Whalen, Mirley Banks (Foster), Dulcie Sheppard (Frank), Sharon Osmond (Spencer), Thelma Cook (Roy), Veda Brake (Randy), Edna Payne and Olga Payne; as well survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by mother, Violet Hillier; parents: Sidney and Deborah Woodland; brothers: Bill Woodland (Laura), Sidney Woodland, Thomas Woodland; sisters: Hilda Cake (Bill), Harriet, Elsie and Gertrude Woodland; father and mother-in-law: John and Frances Payne; brothers-in-law: Fred and Leslie Hillier, Ulric, Dave and John Payne, Charlie Whalen; sisters-in-law: Bonnie Woodland, Betty Woodland, Jenny Wells (Noble), Judy, Stella, Delilah and Noami Payne. Visitation will take place at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove beginning Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations maybe made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.
