It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvie Joan Tatchell (nee Rumbolt) announce her passing at at the family residence on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; daughters Margaret (Joe) Gaulton, Rachel Tatchell and Nancy (David) Tatchell; sons Rick, Duane (Rachel), Kelvin (Effie) and Reg (Michelle Rumbolt); nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one expected grandchild; brother Raymond Rumbolt; sisters Dulcie Hynes and Emma Rumbolt; brother-in-law: Isaac; as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pius, two days prior on January 4th, 2019; parents Reginald and Mary Rumbolt; brother Chesley and sisters: Thelma, Nellie, Marie, Philomena, Betty, Madonna and Leona; Visitation will take place from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Castor River North beginning Wednesday afternoon, followed by the funeral for both Melvie and Pius on Thursday, January 10th at 11:00 A.M. . Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
