It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Cavell Davis announce her passing on Monday, December 8th, 2008 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, at the age of 67 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Don Davis; children: Percy (Elaine), Tine (Mary), Ted (Vivian), Donna Holmes (Richard), Joey (Kerry), Margie Flanigan (Flan), Annette (Kenny); grandchildren: Kimberly, Donny, Shannon, Travis, Teddy, Sheldon, Jordan, Sheri-Ann, TJ and Brandon, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents William and Rita Tippett; sisters: Shirley and Marg. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Pentecostal Church on Friday, December 12th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Daffodil Place.
