Please share a memory of Madeline Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Madeline or “Aunt Mal” as she was known to all was a lady who inspired others by her example, her kindness and generosity, her ability to listen to others and her love of her church community. She was a source of joy to her family and friends. Her “forever young spirit” (29 years old) ensured that her love of life remained with her to the end. Her sudden passing on Tuesday, December 9th, 2008 after a brief illness will be a great loss to all who knew her. She leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, a very special cousin Kathleen Quigley and numerous other relatives and many friends. Madeline was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Agnes Solo, brothers: Peter, Hhsan, Austin, David; sisters: Patricia & Mary. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday December 12th at 10:30 a.m. from the Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. as expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to The Shepherds Fund(The Fund for Retired Priests).
