It is with great sadness that the family of thelate Robert Stone announce his passing at the J.I. O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook, on Friday, December 10th, 2004 at the age of 80 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Joan Dawe (Horace), Irene Casselman (Douglas) and Olive Roach (Eric); grandchildren: Valerie, Aaron, Ryan, Alfred, Janelle, Michele, Geoffrey, Denise and Darryl; 7 great-grandchildren; sister: Dora Stone; brother: Victor Stone; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah Frances (Nee: Mercer); brothers: Wilt, Hube, Stan and Bill; sisters Clara and Jessie. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday 10-12 Noon. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 12th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Curling. Reverend John Hounsell Drover officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Mary's Anglican Church Fund or flowers are graciously accepted.
