It is with great sadness that the family of the late Victor Kendall of Corner Brook announce his passing on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years. He will be sadly missed by his sisters: Juanita Tibbo (William) of Gander and Catherine Alley of St. David’s; sisters-in-law: Bessie Cocarell of Bishop Falls, Una Lewis of Orillia, Ont.; and brother-in-law George Janes (Bridgett) of Glenwood; as well he leaves a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley Kendall (Janes), parents Mary and Henry Kendall, brother Donald, sister Eleanor, mother and father-in-law Austin and Rachiel (Cassie) Janes, sister-in-law Margaret Kendall, brothers-in-law Hugh Alley, Donald Lewis and Leveson Cocarell. A heartfelt thank you to his dear friends and cousins Forrester and Gretta Kendall for their many years of love, care and support and a special thank you to his best buddy Bill Kenny for his companionship and kindness. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue with Archbishop Stewart Payne and Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating.
