It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin John Tucker announce his passing on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn his passing, with fond and loving memories are his wife Dorothy, his children: Tina (Steve), Craig (Tara Lynn), Derek (Gina), Derick (Jackie), Dale (Frances), his step children: Marg (Gary), Murdock (Tammie), Glenys (Kirby), Frances (Victor), Stan (Diane), Roxanne (Earl), daughters in law: Wanda and Jean, sister: Kate (Sam) Park, twenty nine grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Nora Tucker, Wife: Rowena and son: Leonard, wife: Frances and son: Keith, stepson: Ken, grandson: John, granddaughter: Erica, great grandson: Brady, and sister: Barbara. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows on Monday, February 11th at 2 p.m., with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Meadows. As expressions of sympathy, donation may be made to Canadian Cancer Society 70 Ropewalk Lane, P.O. Box 8921 St. John’s, NL A1B 3R9. A special thank you to the staff of 3D and 3A at Western Memorial for their care and compassion at this difficult time.
