Tena Applin passed away peacefully at her family residence with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Glenda (Dereck) Coles, Riley (Eva), Alice, and Chad (Deanna); grandchildren: Ashley (Kristel), Shandie (Steve), Gavin (Stacee), Cory (Tara), Robby, Donovan, Ryan and Aidan; great grandchildren: Alex, Jenny, Cole, and Blair; sister: Dulcie; brothers: Kirby (Vivian), Roland (Jesse), Isaac (Hazel). She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1992; parents Abraham and Alice Genge; and brothers Stedman and Noah. The family will be receiving friends from Edgar Applin Sr. Memorial United Church in Pigeon Cove on Friday evening and Saturday from where Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, February 24th at 2 p.m. with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Interment to follow at United Cemetery Black Duck Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may b e made to the Canadian Cancer Society. There will be a family service on Saturday evening at the Church at 7 p.m.
