It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lewis Ignatus Billard announce his passing  on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 53 years, Bridget, children: Paul (Candace) and Lewis (Deanna); grandchildren: Ashlyn, Nathen, Cody and Aiden; great grandchild, Lucas; sisters: Annette (Garth) and Dora; brothers: René (Sheila), Vince (Catherine), Percy (Iona), Clarence (Lizeta) and Lorrie (Bradea); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ella and Pius Billard; sisters, Peggy and Bertha; grandchildren: Brandon and Dustin. Friends may visit St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Port Au Choix on Thursday, February 28th, 7-9:00 p.m., and Friday, March 1st from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00 A.M. from St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Fr. Raj officiating. The interment will follow at the Interfaith cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be  made to Holy Family Parish.
