I know I didn’t know him well, but uncle Ed was always full of life and happiness when he was around the family. His tribute to my grandfather at his funeral will always resonate with me and I’ll remember him fondly for how beautiful he made it and how he still managed to put a smile on our faces after. Ed, our most precious man in the Humber valley Resort as he was our property manager for so many years. We are defeated and in mourning. We have lost the best man you can have for looking after your property. Always there when you needed him. We laughed a lot always when he was around. He played his guitar and sang. Deepest sympathy Linda and family.
Even though we only met Ed on our one visit to New Foundland and on his visit to Ireland , he made a lasting impression on all our family. We have a wall of photos of memorable moments for each year since 1992 on our kitchen wall and Ed is featured on the wall for 2007 with guitar in hand.. This is a testament to the type of man he was and the huge effect he had on people he met. There will be a great singsong in heaven tonight.

Our hearts are busting at this time. Ed was one of the best people another couple could know. His love for Linda and his children was very evident when he spoke of them.
