Jessie Mildred Coombs

January 15th 1932-March 13th 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie M Coombs announce her passing at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook on Wednesday March 13th 2019 at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with loving memories is her husband Harrison of 61 years, Daughter Nancy and Granddaughter Keisha. Brother Ross Whelan (Ellen) and Sister Hazel. Brothers in law; Angus, Noah (Georgina) Sam (Linda) Clarence. Sisters in law; Eliza, Selina, Jessie (Hayward) Bessie, Mahala and Effie. Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends. She is predeceased by her son Whyman, parents Edna chatfield and Henry Whelan, sisters Hilda, Sue, Beatrice and Blanche. Special niece Barb McCLean. Parents in law, Samuel and Evangeline Coombs. A large circle of brothers and sisters in law, all other relatives and friends. The family will be welcoming friends on Friday March 15th for family service at 8:00pm and Funeral Service Saturday March 16th at 2:00pm. Both at St. Margarets Anglican Church S.C.W & Reefs Harbour. Followed by intermet at the church cemetery in French Cove with Rev Jennifer Renouf officiating. The family had entrusted Jessie’s care and arrangements to Fillatre Funeral Home Ltd. in Corner Brook and Port aux Choix. Thank you to each and everyone who helped in any way.
