It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia Margaret Spracklin announce her passing on Friday, March 22, 2019 after a very courageous battle with cancer. A very proud devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mom was her happiest when we were all together. She was an outstanding athlete. She excelled in Curling, Swimming and was a wonderful Senior Tri-athlete. Her love for her gardens will live on but her best memories will be of her and George heading to the biking trails. She was predeceased by her father William Fitzpatrick. Left to mourn are George, husband of 58 years; Corner Brook; daughters Rochelle (Ian), Ottawa, ON, Karlyne (Bob) , Berwick, NS, grandchildren Meaghan (Jared), Kathleen, Evelyn , Rory and Mitchell; great grandchildren, Briar, Henry and Ada, step grandchildren Matthew, Hillary and Graeme; mother, Molly Fitzpatrick, Corner Brook and several brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday, April 6th, from 10 to 12 noon, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life, and a reception at the funeral home.  The family would like to extend their thanks to all the staff at Palliative Care, Western Memorial Hospital, for their care and compassion. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
