Ivy “Genevieve” Reeves (Bartlett), passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Thursday March 21, 2019 at the Health Sciences Center at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her husband: John William; parents: Dobson & Pamelia; siblings: Harry, Mildred, Dorothy, James, and Charles. Leaving to mourn her son: David (Linda); daughter: Judy (Lewis) Greenland; grandchildren: Stephen, Heather (Lisa McDonald); great grandchildren: Joshua, Aiden and Nathan Reeves; sister: Joyce Mullett. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly. Special thank you to staff at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre and Eastern Health for their care. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a children’s charity of one’s choice. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday March 30th, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday March 31st at First United Church at 2:00 pm. Visitation to take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook, on Saturday, April 13, from 10am-12noon, with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
