ELIZABETH ANN BOYD Corner Brook, NL January 10th, 1939 - December 25th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Ann Boyd announce her passing on Thursday, December 25th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 69 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Raymond of 51 years, sons: Roger (Donna) and John (Cathy), grandchildren Sean (Angela), Kayla, Stephen and Erica, one great-grandson Cole, sisters: Laura Chaffey, Margaret (Leo) Hepditch and Mona Fraser (Carl), brothers: James (Yvonne) Hickey and Ronald Hickey, sisters-in-law: Winnie Hickey, Verna Hickey, Margaret Hickey and Ramona (Norm) Wheeler, brothers-in-law: Raymond Batten, Bruce (Bernice) Boyd, Kevin (Louise) Boyd and Errol (Joan) Boyd. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Annie Hickey, sister Mary Batten, brothers Rhoady, Terrance “Ted”, Gerald and Joseph Hickey. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 10:30 AM from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, Humber Road with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
