Obituary of Maud Mary Russell

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maud Mary Russell announce her passing on April 17, 2019 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 91 years.  She will be sadly missed by her children:  Shirley (Ted), Frank (Kay), Rose (Pat), Peggy (Marcel), Rick, Roxanne (Ronnie); grandchildren:  Clarence, Barb, Denise, Frankie, Keith, Kenny, Patrick, Michelle, Joey, Amy, Ashley, Tuukka, Rask as well as many great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Michael Kelly and Margaret McQue; husband Frank, her brothers:  Tom, Pat, Bill, Gerald; sisters:  Mary, Ann, Margaret, Molly, Lena.  Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2019 and Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 2 -4 & 7 -9 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at 2 P.M. with Fr. Poulose Kannampilly officiating.  Interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery. Please join the family in celebrating Maud's life by joining us at the Kinsmen Center for tea and coffee following the funeral.  As expressions of sympathy, flowers may be sent to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.  Special thanks to the Staff at Labrador Grenfell Health for supporting us during this difficult time, especially Dr. Fogl and Stacey Ramey.
