It is with great sadness that the family of Edgar Ricketts announce his passing on April 21, 2019 at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo, at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Sylvia of 53 years, his children Cindy (Angus), Trent (Lorna), Karla (Wayne) and Trevor (Trina), Grandchildren: Corey (Krista), Kayla (Steve), Shane, Dylan, Domonique, Brandon, Julie, Jordan and 2 Great Grandchildren, Briea and Nora. Sister, Effie (Levi), Brothers, Albert (Alma), Norman (Maisie), Brother-in-law, Ches, Sister-in-law, Eva as well as a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and May, Brother, John, Sisters, Eileen and Bessie, Mother and Father-in-law, Garfield and Elizabeth Marsden.
Visitation will take place at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
