It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Verbena Mary Ann Penney announce her passing on April 24, 2019 at Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 63 years.  She will be sadly missed by her husband, Bert; her daughters, Katherine Russell (William), Kayla Sampson (Gary), Kimberley Penney (Dwayne); son, Kenneth Mugford (Melanie); grandchildren, Alexia, Zoey, William, Jada, Kaden, Graycie, Dakota and Jonah; brother, Wilson (Arlene); sisters, Carrie, Elva, Velma and Sarah; as well as a large circle of other family and friends.  Verbena was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Mugford and her brother, Raymond.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from Calvary Pentecostal Church in Port Hope Simpson with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cementery.
