Obituary of William David Goudie

It is with great sadness  that the family of the late William David Goudie announce his passing on April 29, 2019 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 87 years.  He will be sadly missed by his children:  Bill (Rhondalee), Dawn (Steve), Jerry (Karen), Sheila (Chris), Phil (Dianne), Karen (Natty); step-children: Richard (Bernice), Rod (Jenny); grandchildren:  Stephenie, Stephen, Kimberly, David, Christopher, Laura, Lissa, Kelti, Cameron; step-grandchildren:  Kayla, Devon, Kylie, Paul; great-grandchildren: Jackson, Charles, Elenor, Felix, Gwendolyn, Summer; brothers:  Joe (Debbie), Jim (Rosemary); sisters:  Grace, Marjorie (Jim) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews,  other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents:  James and Elizabeth Goudie, his wife Anne (nee Parsons), remarried Margaret Beals, siblings:  Horrace, Chris, Bruce, Marie, May, Marjorie; children:  Densil, Judy; grandchildren:  Skye, Courtney, Taylor.  Visitation on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 7 – 9 P.M. and Thursday, May 2, 2019, 7 – 9 P.M.  Funeral Service, Friday, May 3, 2019  2 P.M. at the United Church in Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL.  As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be accepted and  donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Special thanks to his doctor of many years, Dr. McCarthy, as well as the wonderful team of doctors and nurses at the Labrador Health Centre.
