Obituary of Chesley Phillip Wiseman

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley Phillip Wiseman announce his passing on Saturday, December 11th, 2004 at The Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 48 years, Alvina Hunt-Wiseman; daughters: Marilyn (Andrew) Lynch, Corner Brook, Janet (Frank) Hickey, John's Beach, Cheryl Wiseman, Moncton, NB, Mary White and friend Ray Johnson, Toronto, ON; sons: Dawson (Diane) Wiseman, St. John's, Dexter (Arlene) Wiseman, Brent Wiseman and friend Marlene Duffy, both of Mount Moriah; 12 grandchildren: Janet Campbell, Beverley Hickey, Benjamin and Gerard Wiseman, Melissa and Scott Wiseman, Steve and Christopher White, Michelle and Kayla Wiseman, James and Catherine Wiseman; 4 great-grandchildren: Michael and Jessica Campbell, Noah Wiseman and Dustin Wiseman; sisters: Sheila, Joy, Maria and Hope, all of Springdale; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Janet Wiseman, brothers Lloyd, Dexter, Alfred and Wilson, sisters Josey and Cedella. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Corner Brook, today Monday from the hours of 2-4 PM. Visitation will continue from The Salvation Army Citadel, Mount Moriah from 7-9 PM, from where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14th at 2:00 PM with Majors Barry & Christine Gray officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
