It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ormsby Hann announce his passing on Sunday, May 5th, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Monty (Bettylou), Marilyn White (Calvin), Pam Caines (Glenn), Lindy (Lisa), Darrel (Doreen), Dale (Amanda) and Ormsby Jr. (Juanita); 17 grandchildren: Marty (Stephanie), Shannon (Julie), Dwayne (Mary), Mark (Trina), Natasha (Elliott), Nadean (Craig), Sharon (Landon), Sheldon (Samantha), Shaila (Neil), Ricky, Blair (Nicole), Jennifer, Arianna, Jaden, Keegan, Jessica and Michael; great grandchildren: James, Jake, Brady, Andi, Ryan, Hannah, Anne, Jacob, Ella, Alexis, Luke, Liam, Molly, William, Emma, Madison, Rowan, Crue and Renly; sisters and brother: Maxine, Joan (George), Fern (Danny), Eileen (Lawrence), Marcie (Tex) and Victor (Nancy); sisters-in-law: Hazel Hann and Eliza Hann; sisters and brother-in-law: Carm Wheeler, Avril Gardener, Faye (Paul) Davis and Wayne Ruth (Anne); as well as a large circle of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ruth; brothers Brazil, Franklyn and James; sisters Jean and Marie; nephew Shannon Wheeler, brother-in-law Bill Halfyard and parents William and Jessie Hann. Friends may visit Bethany United church in Summerside on Monday from 2-4 and 7-10 P.M, from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 2 P.M. with Revered Alice Moore officiating. The interment will follow at the family plot at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
