Obituary of Linda Chubbs
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Chubbs announce her passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau, on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 52 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband Winston; sons: Brodrick (Tara), Darren (Amanda), Darcey (Nadia) and Gregory (Catherine); two grandchildren: Adam and Alex; mother Dora Barney; sisters: Peggy, Pansy, Beulah, and Yvonne; brothers Wayne and Rodney, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father William Barney. Visitors were received at the Anglican Church in L'Anse au Clair on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, December 26th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverned Marlaine Leggo officiating, assisted by Reverned Norman Cutler. Interment followed at the Church Cemetery in L'Anse au Clair. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, L'Anse au Loup.
