It. is with great sadness that the family of the Late Ronald Douglas Duffney announce his passing on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 91 years.  His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him especially his daughter Gwen; sons:  Glen, Ronald; grandchildren:  Natasha, Jade, Jordyn; sisters:  Patricia, Marina, Shirley; brother Francis (Coolidge) and many extended family and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his father John Duffney; mother Rose Young; brothers:  John, Roy, Bradley, Lionel (Mike), Leslie and nephew Brian Duffney.  Visitaton will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. at St. Anne’s Chapel, Flat Bay, NL from where the Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating.  Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Teresa’s, NL will take place following the service.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
