Obituary of Freda Mary Metcalfe

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Freda Mary Metcalfe announce her passing on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Western Regional Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL at the age of 69 years.  Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her especially her daughters:  Sherrie (Keith), Lisa (Chris), Jessica (Brian); sons:  Sidney, Stephen (Crystal); grandchildren:  Jeorgia, Jayson, Jamie, Catelyn, Christopher, Natasha, Niles, Erin, Jesse, Matthew, Andrew; great-granddaughter Avery; sister  Rowena (Lew); brothers:  Bob (Joan), Lloyd (Pearl), Perley (Joyce), George (Jeanette) as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends.  She was pre-deceased by her husband George; parents Sidney  and Lillian Pittman; sons:  Robert and Michael.  The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Dialysis Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital for their dedication and hard work.  You will always be remembered.  Visitation will take place at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, St. David’s, NL on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.  from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, May 27, 2019  at 2 p.m. with The Reverend Norman Cutler officiating.  Inurnment will take place following the service in the Anglican Cemetery, St. David’s, NL.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of Ones’ Choice.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
