It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Baxter Holley announce his passing on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 64 years May (Nee Green); children: Roy (Anne) Holley and Joanne Holley (Oliver Wigington); grandsons: Jason and Landon Holley (Jessica) and their mother Peggy, Douglas (Kassandra) and Alexander Holley; granddaughter Samantha Holley Porter (Harry); great-grandchildren: Greyson and Tristan; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Wayne Holley, parents Leonard and Johanna Holley, brothers Roy and Jack, sisters Emmy, Pearl, Alice and Gertie, special niece Nancy. A very special thank you to the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care, especially the staff of Raspberry Road for the loving care and compassion you provided for Gordon. We will forever be in your debt and you will be remembered fondly always.Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps, the Alzheimer Society or All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
