Obituary of Valencia Bird
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valencia Bird announce her passing on May 30, 2019 at the Long Term Care Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 94 years. She will be sadly missed by her children, Marion, Jean, Michael and Arlene, and grandchildren, Darrell, Daren, Steven, Shawn and Jenine. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, son, Lewis, sisters, Ruth, Florence, Marion, Veda and Vera, and parents, Samuel and Victoria Lethbridge. Friends may visit St. Andrew's Anglican Church May 31st. from the hours of 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. Special thanks to Ruby Durno, George Bird, Violet Dyson and the staff at Long Term Care.
