It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hannah Elizabeth Daniels announce her passing on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Denise (Dave) Gale, Grimshaw, Alberta; son Terry (Lori) Daniels, Whitecourt, Alberta; grandchildren: Yvonne Allen, David Gale Jr., Amanda and Jonathon Daniels and their mother Joan Daniels; great-grandchildren: Keegan, Caleb, Chloe, Brooklyn, Clara, Brooklyn and Jasmine; sisters: Rowena Gale, Cormack, Hilda Rice, Hampden and Laura Kirkland, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Gladys Miles, Corner Brook, Melinda Daniels, Florida, Pearl Howley, Ontario, Shirley Jacobs, Nova Scotia and Beryl Jacobs, St. John’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William Daniels, parents Thomas and Susannah Jacobs, brothers Hector, Reginald and Clayton Jacobs, brothers-in-law Clarence Gale, Raymond Rice, Robert Spurrell and Dale Kirkland, Jim Power, Arthur Holwel, Wallie Myles, Leonard Brake, Martin Nagle, and Mel Howley; sisters in-law Ella Jacobs, Marion Nagle, Ruby Power, and Masie Brake. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
