Calvin Wheeler
1937 -2019
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we the family announce the passing of our beloved Calvin “Pop” Wheeler on June 3, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81.Calvin will be lovingly remembered by his son Colin, daughter Debbie (Bryan) and their children Megan and Andrew (Katie). He will be especially missed by his niece Christine (Ross). Calvin was predeceased by his loving wife Isabel (Druggett), parents John and Gertrude; brothers George, Jack, Arthur, Chester and Gordon; sisters Elsie, Florence, Angela and Wilhelmina, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Calvin will be remembered for his kind gentle soul, love for animals and country and western music. Visitation will take place at St. James’ Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Friday, June 7th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral will be held Saturday, June 8th at 2:00 pm with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. James’ Anglican Church.
