It is with great sadness that the family of the late Millicent Billard of Port au Choix announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories brother Roland Farwell (Nina), Corner Brook; sister-in-law Sadie Farwell, St. John’s; nieces and nephews: Bonnie Hayward (Gary), Mount Peral, Percy Farwell (Andrea), Gander, Sharon Pennell (Rick), Stephenville, Brian Farwell (Julie), Fort St. John , BC, Delisa Farwell (Paul), Portugal Cove, Darren Farwell (Pauline), Napean, Ont., Rhoda Butt, Nova Scotia and Gloria Perry (Calvin), Hawkes Bay; special friends Carolyn Lavers, Patricia Barrett and Denise Gould. She was predeceased by her husband Romeo, parents Wilbert and Matilda Farwell, brothers Clayton, Melvin, Theodore, Jack, Gordon, Percy and Maxwell, sisters-in-law Rita Farwell, Ivy Farwell and Catherine Farwell. Visitation to take place on Monday, June 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Millicent.
