It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Claude Bennett announce his passing on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving his wife of 65 years Ima; daughters: Donna (Jeff) Colbourne, Heather (Terry) Pittman, Cyndy (Ben) House, Lori Bennett and Juana (David) Roncali; sons: Rick (Janice) Bennett and Troy Bennett; grandchildren: Robbie Bennett, Jeffrey Colbourne (Megan), Steven Colbourne (Blaine), Stefan Pittman (Maki), Jessica Pittman (Darrell), Jonathon House (Kim), Meaghan O’Quinn (Billy), Kayla Bennett, Krista Bennett and Aubrey Roncali; great-grandchildren: Destiny, Hope, Mitchell, Orrick, Mareah, Noah, Bo, Marcus, Hailie, Lincoln, Avah, Huxley, Norah and Elliott; brothers: Fraser (Hughena) Bennett and George (Elaine) Bennett; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Freeman and Ellen Bennett, parents-in-law Leonard and Georgina Payne, sister Meta (Francis) Toope, sister-in-law Vera (John) Morrison and brother-in-law Edmund (Cora) Payne. Friends may visit St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 19 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
