It is with great sadness that the family of the late Francis Ronald Reardon Sr. announce his passing on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 48 years Elizabeth (nee Thistle); children: Francis Jr. (Aida), Deborah (Terry), Maria (Chris) and Finola (Shawn); grandchildren: Ashley-May, Avarayna, Benjamin, Elijah and Ella-Maria; mother Marie (Graham); sisters and brothers: Joyce (Ray), William (Gertrude), Kevin (Madonna), Leona (Blair), Philip (Sandra), Andrew (Roma), Reginald, Dean (Gail) and Darren (Charlene); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Vergus. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 AM from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NL Retired Teachers Foundation Group.
