July 26, 1951 – July 1, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gene Payne announce his passing on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Alex (Michele), Morley (Elsie), Danica (Dwayne) and Jevin (Megan); grandchildren: Kavita, Ethan, Gaige, Kira and Matthew; brothers: Lloyde (Marina), Shawn (Annett), Robert (Linda), Eldon (Dorris) and Guy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his spouse Belinda Gill, parents Bethiah and Jesse Payne, parents-in-law Ronald and Jessie O’keefe. Friends may visit St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Clare Stewart officiating.
