It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mona Selina House announce her passing on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters : Madeline (Derm), Irene (Calvin; grandchildren: Dain (Tanya), Michael (Desiree); great-grandchildren: Lilly, Aiden; brothers: Ronald, Gilbert (Vivian); sisters: Belinda (George), Gertie (Bob), Merina (Jeff); sister-in-law Clara, brother-in-law Felix; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her partner Ernest Verge; parents Edgar and Mary House; son-in-law Garrett Blanchard and sister Eileen (Peter).
Special thanks to the staff of the ICU Dept. of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and to her special friend Millicent Payne.
Cremation has taken place and friends may visit with family at Mona’s residence in Parson’s Pond on Thursday, July 4th and the funeral service will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Parsons Pond on July 5th at 2 pm.
As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to charity of one’s choice.
