DOUGLAS WILLIAM JONES December 9th, 1969 - December 23rd, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas William Jones announce his passing on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 39 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories son Tristin and his mother Kim Anderson, brothers & sisters: Larry (Denise), Wayne (Patricia), Darryl (Trish), Lorraine, Ed (Darlene), Phyllis, Chris (Kelly), Mary (Keith), Peter and Paul (Lisa), sister-in-law Gloria, a very large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret, March 18th, 2008, brother Kevin, infant sister Sheila, nephew Robbie and his grandparents. His father, George Jones, has since passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 11: a.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. from Sacred Heart Parish. Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery . As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, Sacred Heart Parish or to a Charity of One’s Choice.
