Obituary of Mani Katinen Nuna

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mani Katinen Nuna announce her passing on Monday, July 8, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL at the age of 79 years. She will be greatly missed by her children:  Anne (Simon), David (Nancy), Philip (Mary Jane), Tenesh (Randy), Edward; sisters:  Germaine,  Paula, Manimat, Justine, Clem and Nashtash;  brothers:  Greg, Ben, Alex, Guy, Eric and Max.  Also leaving to mourn 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and a wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband George Jacques; her mother Helen and her father Matshiu Ben; brothers:  Charlie and Patrick; sister, Elizabeth.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, 1 P.M. at CYN in Sheshatshiu, NL with Reverend Joe Pichai Pillai Vellankanni officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu.
