It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Finton Burke announce his passing on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Myrelle; grandchildren: Breanna and Tyler; ex-wife Catherine and husband Vic; brothers: Frank (Cynthia) and Patrick (Hilda); sisters: Mary (Marcell), Annette (Cleo) and Linda; sister-in-law Olive; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Eva, brother Jim, sisters Catherine and Dulcie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix with Father Raj officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
