It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose Mary Taylor announce her passing on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Cynthia Tucker (Glen), Ken (Karen) Taylor and John Taylor; grandchildren: Jamie Taylor (Stephanie), Robert Tucker (Jenna), Meghan Themig (Neil), Mark Tucker (Kristina) and Jacob Taylor (Jenna); great-grandchildren: Peyton, Wacey, Noah and Hallie Themig and Mackenzie Taylor; sisters: Jean Shea, Stephenville and Loretta Dickhout, New York; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Austin Taylor, parents William and Mary McDonald, brothers Brendan and Louis McDonald and sister Joan Delaney. Cremation has taken place friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 28 at 3:30 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janeway, the SPCA or a Charity of One’s Choice.
