It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Brake on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 62. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, son Anthony (AJ) Brake (Erica), sisters &  brothers: Rosemary McNaught, Ed Brake (Daphne), Thomas Brake (Vicki), Irene Stratton (Walter), Esther Byrne (Tony), Kathleen Smith; sister-in-law Michelle, Trudy, Rosalind (Brent), brothers-in-law Sean, Wayne, Brian, Jimmy (Sandra), Tony, Paul. As well he will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Joanne, October 31, 2016, sisters Gertrude Noseworthy, Mildred McConnell, parents Pierce & Sarah Brake. In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 29th, 2019 at 10:30 am from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street with Father Jim Robertson officiating, interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s funeral Home 218 Curling Street Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
