Obituary of Ernest Joseph Legge

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Ernest Legge announce his passing on Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 59 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Kevin (Allison) and his mother Linda; his daughter Angela and her mother Sharon; grandchildren:  Alexis, Alicia, Mackenzie, Kane; brothers:  Clyde (Sue McIsaac) Webb, Fintan (Janice) Legge, Glenn (Pam) Legge, Keith (Lorraine) Legge; sisters:  Sylvia (Mark) Legge, Shelley (Alvin) McEachren as well as his home care worker, extended family and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his parents Kevin & Patricia Legge and his brother Wayne.  The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of the Dialysis Units in both Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL and Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL.  Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 7 – 9 p.m.  Cremation will take place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL following the visitation.  The Funeral Mass will take place from St. Anne’s Chapel on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery following the service.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
