It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive Mae Baldwin announce her passing on Monday, January 26th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 70 years Frank Baldwin, Hampden; daughters: Patricia Bushey, Hampden, Sadie Dutot (Joe Flynn), Hampden, Poppy (Michael) Blanchard, Stephenville, Beverley (Donald) Rice, Hampden, Maisie (Wilfred) Park, Corner Brook, Golda (Eldon) Parsons, Hampden and Peggy Baldwin (Keith Warren), Corner Brook; adopted son Tony Baldwin, Fort McMurray, 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Willis (Florence) Baldwin, Jackson’s Arm; sisters-in-law: Jessie (Douglas) Osmond, St. John’s and Edna Baldwin, Fort McMurray. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Bartholomew and Jane Rice, a baby girl in infancy, 4 brothers, son-in-law Benjamin Bushey and brother-in-law George Baldwin. Friends may visit St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm on Wednesday from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.
