Obituary of Mary Jane Nui

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Jane Nui announce her passing on Aug 18th, 2019 at the Health Sciences Center, St. John’s, NL. at the age of 67 years. She will be sadly missed by her common law spouse, Philip Sandy; Children: Garfield, Daniel, Patrick, Alexander; Grandchildren: Claudia, Jonathon, Jordan, Kenneth; Brothers: Joachim, Sam; Sisters: Mary Rose Selma, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Parents, Nuk and Monique Nui; Brother Ponas Nuke; Sisters: Caroline Andrew, Louisa Benuen. Visitation at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Monday August 19th, 2019 from 7 to 9 PM. Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at 31 Matshateu Ed. Sheshatshiu, NL. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 21st, 2019, from the Sheshatshui Innu School Gymnasium at 1 PM. with Fr. Joe Vallenkanni officiating with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sheshatshui, NL. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, also flowers graciously accepted. Special thanks to the staff at The Health Sciences Center, St. John’s, NL.
