Obituary of Hubert Wilson Elliott

1929 – 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hubert Wilson Elliott announce his passing after a 23-year battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Dorothy, children: Marilyn (Randy) Jerrett, Rex (Theresa), Rozlyn (Kenneth) Ricketts; grandchildren: Stephen, Jeremy, Leona, Mark, Megan, Danielle, Michael; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  He was predeceased by his son Ivan Derick, parents Samuel and Emmaline Elliott: siblings: James, Lawrence, Mary, Gordon, Effie, Augustus, Aramanda, Ivy, Florence, Baxter and Dulcie. The family wish to send many thanks to the personal care workers from TLC who provide loving care over the past 12 years.

Visitation will be held at the Pentecostal Church, Sops Arm on Friday, August 23^rd from 2-4 pm and the funeral service will be held at the Pentecostal Church on Saturday, August 24^th at 2pm with Pastor Jared Oxford officiating. The interment will follow at the Pentecosta Cemetery.
