It is with great sadness that the family of the Late John Lawrence Hawkins announce his passing at his family residence in Fort McMurray, AB on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the age of 53 years.  He will be forever missed and loved by his common-law spouse Linda Borque; daughter Daphne (Casey) King; son Lawrence Jr. (Miranda); grandson Remington George King; mother Corina Hawkins; sisters; brothers as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his grandparents:  Mary Rose Harper & Stanley Connolly and Agnes Hawkins & Frank Webb.  Visitation will take place on Friday, October 25, 2019 between the hours 7 – 9 p.m. from St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s, NL from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation or the SPCA.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
