August 17, 1955 – September 3, 2019

A fierce mother, a faithful daughter, a loving companion, and a courageous sister. With hearts full of love and a mind full of cherished memories we are forever grateful. Marilyn leaves to mourn with loving memories her husband Dennis; children: Arthur (Amanda), Charlene (Paul) and Charmaine (Chance); step-sons: Scott (Amanda) and Randy (Stephanie); grandchildren: Robbie, Shandy, Alyssa, Payton, Liam, Quinn, Luke, Reid, Ashton and Aspen; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Evan Xavier and Winston; mother Yvonne; siblings: Margaret (Rol), Junior (Joan), John, Holly (Don), Janice (Bill), Janet (Wilf), Nicole (Boyd) and Margaret (Marven); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ted, son Rocky, father Edgar and sister Peggy. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday 7-9 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Hawkes Bay from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Boyd officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, River of Ponds. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
