It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christina Mary Kelly announce her passing on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Bert Kelly, Grace Andrews (friend Bill) and Gene Kelly (Lisa); grandchildren: Joshua, Christopher, Alexander and Geena; brothers: Jim Turner, Cyril Turner, Gerald Turner (Sharon) and Tom Turner (Nona); sisters: Kay Brenton, Bonnie Bonnell (Bill), Margaret Ryan, Marie George and Lily Wall (George); sisters-in-laws: Jackie Kelly (Bunty), Sadie Newhook (Jon), Gen Gillingham, Betty Kelly and Sheila Lundrigan; special niece Cheryl Quigley; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bert Kelly, parents John and Norah Turner, sister Jean Wall (Bill), brother Gus Turner, brother-in-law Harry Kelly (Mary), sisters-in-law Angela Green and Margaret Turner and special cousin Sean Hartery. Special thank you to Dr. Kim Gunson and the entire staff of the Emergency Department at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
