Obituary of Mary Ann Joyce

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann Hughes Joyce announces her passing at Rufus Guinchard Health Center Port Saunders on Sunday, September 8, 2019.  She leaves to mourn a loving family: daughter Elaine (Wilfred) Sheppard; grandchildren: Christopher (Lori) Hughes, Nicola Sheppard, Andrew (GIna) Kelly, Mindy Rumbolt; great grandchildren: Alexis & Devin Hughes; Brielle, Marian & Adrian Rumbolt; siblings: Joseph (Blanche) Hughes, Eileen (Tom) Myers, Maisie (Gerard) Rumbolt, Melvin Hughes and Abraham Hughes Jr; a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family in St. Paul's & Norris Point and many friends.  She is predeceased by parents: Abraham Sr. & Helena Hughes and son Carl Joseph Hughes.

Visitation will take place at Queen of the Angels Church in Castors River South, Monday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.  A with funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11th at 11:00 AM at the church with Father Rossi presiding.  Interment will follow at Bartlett's Harbour Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Rufus Guinchard Health Center for the great care they gave to Mary Ann during her stay.  They also want to thank her home care providers, Adeline Ryland and Wanda Rumbolt, for their amazing care.  The family entrusted her final care to Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Port au Choix.
